The Karst development characteristics and countermeasure of Yunwushan Tunnel

Xue Bin, Zhang Minqing

Strategic Study of CAE 2009, Volume 11, Issue 12,   Pages 61-68

Abstract:

The revealed karst, karst features and treatment measures are described in detail, and different types of karst-specific countermeasures are put up. At the same time, it is stressed that in the encounter of large-scale high-pressure water-rich cavity filling, macro-scopical analysis and understanding of the geological background governs in determining the treatment schedule. The by-pass schedule pertaining to large-scale karst cavities during construction is put up, and relatively construction organization is modified to ensure the project term target. All these can provide reference for the construction of the long karst tunnels.

Model test of stone columns as liquefaction countermeasure in sandy soils

Mengfei QU,Qiang XIE,Xinwen CAO,Wen ZHAO,Jianjun HE,Jiang JIN

Frontiers of Structural and Civil Engineering 2016, Volume 10, Issue 4,   Pages 481-487 doi: 10.1007/s11709-016-0355-9

Abstract: The shaking table model test was conducted to investigate earthquake resistant behavior of stone columns under the intensity of an earthquake resistance of buildings is VIII. The test results show that when acceleration is less than 0.20 g, composite foundation is not liquefied, settlement is also small and pile dislocation is not observed; when acceleration is 0.3g, ground outside embankment’s slope toe is liquefied and ground within stone column composite foundation is not. It is suggesting that reinforcement scale of stone column foundation should be widened properly. The designed stone column composite foundation meets the requirements for seismic resistance.

Analysis of Influencing Factor of Brand Competitiveness

Bing Hongyan

Strategic Study of CAE 2002, Volume 4, Issue 5,   Pages 79-83

Abstract:

Transnational corporations carry out the global strategy, from product export, capital export to brand export. This kind of multipurpose export which relies on abundant capital and is guaranteed by the advanced technology, as a flag with brand ,impacts greatly the national brand and gives it a severe challenge. Facing the foreign brand large-scale entering, the problem appears gradually that national brands are short of competitiveness. The author tries to discuss countermeasures to improve brand competitiveness by analyzing the influencing factor of brand competitiveness.
